Usk Natural Burial Meadow is a large traditional pasture in the heart of Monmouthshire, surrounded on three sides by the woods of Usk Castle Chase. With far reaching views to the south, and the shade of ancient trees, it offers a place of great peace and tranquility.

Each season has a different beauty, fro the spring flowers and bluebells, to the tall grasses of summer and the autumn leaves of the forest.

Usk Castle Chase is perfect for simple burials in beautiful natural surroundings, giving you complete freedom to choose how to conduct the ceremony and how much or little to be involved in the practical arrangements.

Keeping everything simple and natural, means you can choose an earth-friendly coffin - maybe willow, or a simple pine casket, an artful papier-mache Eco-pod, or perhaps a minimal cardboard coffin, and some of your favourite flowers from your garden perhaps.
